Born of Jamaican parents, Naurice Mullings is the youngest of eight children. He's been cooking, and loving it, as early as he can remember. But food wasn't always his only passion. At 6'9 he was a natural to the game of basketball. The sport afforded him many opportunities, both in college and afterwards, but ultimately he returned to his roots in Maryland. Chef Naurice (Big Jerk) started chasing his culinary dream in 2016 by launching his Catering business, The Big Jerk - Wings & 'Tings. First by mastering his signature wings and promoting them at Pop-Up events in DC and Baltimore, then expanding his menu and catering private events up to 1,500 guests.
